Friday July 19th
Chicago Cubs vs San Diego Padres – First Pitch 1:20pm. The promotion is John Lester “On The Farm” Bobblehead.
Pitchfork Music Festival – From Friday July 19th – Sunday July 21st. Celebrating its 14th year in 2019, the internationally recognized Pitchfork Music Festival presents 40+ bands over the course of three days each summer in Chicago’s Union Park. The festival highlights the best in new and emerging music.
Sheffield Street Festival – From Friday July 19th – Sunday July 21st. Welcome to the 51st Annual Sheffield Street Festival, sponsored by the Sheffield Neighborhood Association, a non-profit community organization. The “Summer’s Best Festival” features self-guided tours of more than 80 Gardens, guided Architectural Tours, live entertainment by some of Chicago’s best bands, food and drink, and activities for children at the Kids’ Corner.
Taste of River North – From Friday July 19th – Sunday July 21st. Bands, Food, and More!
Artfest Michigan Avenue – From Friday July 19th – Saturday July 20th. Showcasing the work of 70 juried artists from across the country in a wide variety of mediums, this “all-art” show will be held Friday, July 19, and Saturday, July 20, from 10 am to 5 pm both days. Admission is FREE for all attendees!
Tacos Y Tamales Fest – From Friday July 19th – Sunday July 21st. This is a street affair based off a traditional Mexican market known as the Tianguis; where authenticity is at the forefront for our food, drink, music, shopping, & more.
El Gran Fest Colombiano – From Friday July 19th – Sunday July 21st. Colombia’s culture is a mixture of many great things—from its cuisine to its carnivals, to its dance and its cumbia and vallenato music. Colombian festivals are characterized by explosive colors, Carnivale costumes, bustling music, and passionate celebrations.
Movies in the Parks at Piotrowski – From 8:15pm – 10:12pm. SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE – PG – Teen Miles Morales (voiced by Shameik Moore) becomes the Spider-Man of his reality, crossing his path with five counterparts from other dimensions to stop a threat for all realities.
Saturday July 20th
Chicago Cubs vs San Diego Padres – First pitch 1:20pm. There is no promotion.
Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon – From Saturday July 20th – Sunday July 21st. This event is closed, however it should upset traffic, especially on Sunday morning, so be aware.
Chicago Craft Beer Festival – From Saturday July 20th – Sunday July 21st. Highlights include daily afternoon tastings where visitors who purchase a pass can sample from a pool of more than 70 specialty beers lovingly crafted by 35-plus local, regional and national breweries. Tasting ticket holders are also encouraged to savor the day after the tastings and enjoy great music acts and more!
ComplexCon – From Saturday July 20th – Sunday July 21st. ComplexCon, the world’s largest gathering of pop culture visionaries and impact makers, is adding more of today’s profound voices and provocateurs in the hip-hop and sports community for the first-ever ComplexCon Chicago taking place July 20th and 21st at McCormick Place.
Taste of Korea Chicago Festival – From Saturday July 20th – Sunday July 21st. We will have authentic and fusion Korean food, Korean merchandise for purchase, plenty of activities for all and cultural performances on stage.
The Silver Room Block Party – Starts at 12:00pm. The Silver Room Sound System Block Party, started in 2002, celebrates cultural diversity through expression, music and art, and is a community event hosted by The Silver Room and owner, Eric Williams in collaboration with an organized team. A donation at the gate is suggested.
Dream In Color – Youth Entrepreneur Expo – From 12:00pm – 5:00pm. Youth Entrepreneur Expo Vendors, Resource Tables, Performances, Music and Fun for the entire family.
AON Summer Fireworks – From 10:15pm – 10:25pm. Navy Pier is Chicago’s bi-weekly destination for spectacular, free fireworks displays perfectly synchronized to music on Lake Michigan. Navy Pier’s Aon Summer Fireworks occur on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the summer, from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Movies in the Parks at Bradley – From 8:15pm – 10:29pm – BLACK PANTER – PG-13 – T’Challa, the King of Wakanda (Chadwick Boseman), rises to the throne in the isolated, technologically advanced African nation, but his claim is challenged by a vengeful outsider (Michael B. Jordan) who was a childhood victim of T’Challa’s father’s mistake.
Sunday July 21st
Chicago Cubs vs San Diego Padres – First Pitch is 1:20pm. The promotion is Cubs Youth Baseball Cap.
Chinatown Summer Fair – From 10:00am – 8:00pm. This popular annual celebration of Far East culture returns for its 41st festive year. Highlights include the Dragon & Lion Dance Procession, artisans, plenty of neighborhood cuisine, activities for families and children, and more.
Art Institute Block Party – From 10:30am – 5:00pm. The Art Institute hosts its second annual Block Party on July 21—join us for a full day of performances, talks, storytelling, and art making in and around the entire museum.
Mexican Indigenous Music Festival (Second Annual) – From 4:00pm – 8:00pm. The festival is designed to share the cultural heritage of Mexico’s diverse indigenous communities through music, dance, clothing and handicrafts with Chicagoans.
Movies in the Parks at Jonquil – From 8:15pm – 9:41. THE GRINCH – PG – A grumpy Grinch (voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch) hatches a plot to ruin Christmas for the village of Whoville, but he didn’t plan for Cindy-Lou Who (voiced by Cameron Seely).
Monday July 22nd
Chicago White Sox vs Florida Marlins – First Pitch 7:10pm – The promotion is Bulls Kid Nation Night.
Movies in the Parks at Harold Washington – From 8:15pm – 10:25pm. DREAMGIRLS – PG-13 – A trio of black female soul singers cross over to the pop charts in the early 1960s, facing their own personal struggles along the way.
Tuesday July 23rd

Chicago Fire vs Cruz Azul – Match Time 7:30pm.

Wednesday July 24th
